The first features 2500 wheels of cheese falling off a mountain. Cheese is one of the favorites for these exploits, and this is just amusing to watch whether you know anything about Skyrim or not.

Then there was the person who filled their house with as many weapons as they could get their hands on and then unleashed a dragon shout on it and created a tsunami of swords, daggers, hammers and shields!

This made us LOL in the office yesterday, unnecessary censorship in Skyrim. It’s especially inappropriate when they beep the children..

And then there’s Buffalo Bill the Dragonborn. At first I laughed, but then I got jealous that playing on the PS3, I can’t decapitate people like this. Oh right, and then I was grossed out. That’s how it happened…

This one broke while I was off for Thanksgiving, but apparently a Tennessee man wants the White House to ban Skyrim. Because campaigns like this ALWAYS work and are NEVER run by cookes…*cough* Burn the Koran guy *cough*

50 perfect reviews later, we have an F-ton of copies sold. However, if you’re like me and playing on PS3, be careful. Save files larger than 5MB can wreck your S#!t. I am experiencing some lag, pressing X in the menus will sometimes leave me with no response. Had 2 freezes in the first 2 days of play, which really REALLy made me upset, but the Ben & Jerry’s Americone Dream calmed me down after about the 5th pint. So I will survive. And “Smithsmithsmith” the Nord Dragonborn will fight another day.

If you’re playing on Xbox 360, a patch is coming to fix some of the graphical texture issues players have been reporting. And if you’re playing on PC, enjoy your superiority, you smarmy jerks.

Thanks to IGN for compiling this list of amazing glitches in the game. Almost all open-world games of this scale have some sort of strange physics glitches (Red Dead Redemption, the Fallout series) and Skyrim is no exception. Although I must say that I’ve seen the air-punching fistfight, but didn’t think much of it. And I don’t believe it’s a glitch when the giants pound their clubs into your skull that you go immediately flying upwards for a few miles. That seems right to me.

Modern Warfare is now a week old, and I am SOOOO far behind everyone else in the MP progress. Both Shelley and myself are like levels 27 or 28, and everyone we play against is up in the 50s and 60s. Guess we didn’t get enough Double XP Mountain Dew. I don’t know for sure if I like MW3 more or less than Black Ops, yet. I know that I like it more than MW2, but that’s the way it’s supposed to be, right?

Heard that before, haven’t we? Well I’m sure it’s true, I’m beginning to wonder just how much further the FPS genre can go. The Call of Dutys of the world are slowly becoming the Madden NFL games of the genre. There’s very little change from year to year when you really look at it, and people are buying them almost out of habit. The excitement, while there on a national and advertising level, just doesn’t seem to be there around the office. But you know what? I felt the same way about COD: Black Ops, and I like COD:BO the most out of any Calls of Dutys. So we will, as they say, see. Listen for more on Friday, as that is SKYRIM DAY!! HOORAY!!

Right now it’s tracking at about 87/100 on Metacritic. I picked it up yesterday, but haven’t played it yet. People are absolutely loving it though. And it’s definitely going to be a Game of the Year contender, but guess what, so is next week’s big release, Uncharted 3…already tracking at 94/100 on the MC.

This is the middle of an incredible 4 weeks for gaming. After U3, there’s MW3, then 3 days later Skyrim!!! I’d go thru the rest of this week’s releases…but they don’t matter. The best games out this month start with Bat.

Batman Beyond, super futuristic and mostly capeless and way more badass. Buy an energy drink with the right can, and redeem the code for your skin, works for Xbox or PS3 versions. AAAh! Batman Arkham City is finally upon us. And he guess what, it’s damn near perfect! Look at this Metacritic score. I’ve never seen a game get so many perfect scores since either Metal Gear Solid 4 or Grand Theft Auto IV. Now I’ll be honest and tell you that I never played either of those 2 games, because I thought there was no way possible for them to live up to the hype surrounding them. Batman is about to suffer from the same curse, but the exception here is that I was on board the hype train from the moment the game was announced. If you don’t get this, you are a looooooooooser.

But as is the recent Tuesday tradition, and because I feel obligated, here’s everything else out today…

Tropico 4:(Xbox360, PS3, PC) Strategy title based on running a tropical island dictatorship, but it’s totally not a Cuba-running sim. Tropicos always get solid scores, as of this writing there are only 2 reviews on Metacritic (11:38 AM on 10/18/11) 7.9/10

Pet Zombies: (3DS) Want a pet zombie? Want a pet zombie in 3D?? Well that’s what this game gives you. Only one review up as of this writing, and it’s not so good…. 5.5/10

The big one: Forza Motorsports 4. Super-realistic driving sim, the Xbox 360’s answer to Gran Turismo. By all accounts it’s fantastic. 9.5/10

If you’re a fan of Crysis 2 but like me didn’t ever play the first one because you don’t have a gaming PC, there’s hope. The first Crysis was released this week on Xbox Live and Playstation Network for $20/1600 Microsoft points. I really like Crysis 2, and this looks like it’s totally worth every dollar/point for it. It still doesnt’ look as good as it would running on a high-end PC, but you get the idea either way. 8.0/10

Other games out today include Hulk Hogan’s Main Event for XB360 that uses Kinect…looks fun! Kinectimals with Bears, and a new Sesame Street game developed by DoubleFine (The people behind Costume Quest, Brutal Legend, Stacking and Trenched), fighter pilot game Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. And last but not least, if you never got Red Dead Redemption or never picked up any of its DLC, the Game of the Year edition released today, packing over $100 worth of content onto a disc for less than the price of a full-size game.

Rage - A first person shooter from the fathers of first person shooters, iD. There are elements of iD’s classics like Doom and Quake, the scoring elements of Bulletstorm, the open-world post apocalyptic setting of Fallout/and or Borderlands, and LOTS of stuff to shoot.   8.5/10

NBA 2K12 - If you thought last year with The Jordan Challenge was a great innovation for NBA 2K11, 2K12 lets you settle the argument of “What’s the best NBA team of all time?” Is it the ‘96 bulls with their 72 wins? (The answer is obviously yes) Is it the ‘89 Pistons? The ‘61-69′ Celtics? You decide with NBA 2K12. 9.5/10

Dark Souls - Players of the PS3’s Demon’s Souls know what to expect. This time they’re expanding to XBOX 360, an incredibly challenging RPG that will punish you greatly for your mistakes. A button-masher this is not. You have to carefully plan your attacks, or you will despise yourself for ever picking this game up. 9.0/10

Forza 4 (XB360) and Spider-Man:Edge of Time (XB360 & PS3) are also released today but their reviews aren’t up as of 11:43 AM this Tuesday AM. You know what to expect if you’re into Forza, realistic racing. Spider-Man is a spiritual sequel without actually being a sequel to last year’s Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, but there’s only a couple of different Spider-Men in this one, keep an eye out for yourself if you’re a Spider-Maniac.

I plan on getting into Rage at some point, but I don’t know when I’ll ever have time. 2K12 has a demo out on XBOX Live and PSN if you’re interested, and I highly recommend it. Demon’s Souls…I’m not touching. I’m way too much of a n00b.

At least until I remembered I had an invite to the Battlefield 3 Beta. This was a frustrating experience, I downloaded the 1.3 GB beta which took me almost an hour to get to 94% and then I dropped my controller and hit the cancel button. So another hour later I finally get in on the Beta. It looks good, a little glitchy but that’s what a Beta is, an unfinished product. Battlefield 3, in case you didn’t know, is full of HUGE maps. There’s only one map available on the XB360, and it’s damn big. I was in long enough to get about 3 kills and die 6 or 7 times before I had to go to work. The biggest difference between a BF3 match and a COD match is the BF3 enemies are REALLY far away sometimes. You can barely see them, and I really don’t recomment getting into BF3’s multiplayer if you don’t have an oversized HD tv. You won’t be able to see who’s shooting at you for the most part.

Yesterday soccer fans ruled the day, FIFA 12, Pro Evolution Soccer 12, and X-Men Destiny all dropped, yo. Along with the Ico & Shadow of the Colossus collection, both games I’d never really heard much about before but no one anywhere has anything bad to say about either, so look into them if you’re on the PS3.
